Sutton Veney is also in the warminster district.
The marraige with Charlotte Harris has been transcribed correctly from the indices but the original registrar may have copied it incorrectly. It is not TOO disimilar to Hains in old handwriting.

Help! I am trying to find a birth record for my G. Grandfather, William Smith, born in Hytesbury, wiltshire in 1851. I have a marriage record in 1876 to Dorcas Elms in Newport Monmmouthshire, and in the 1901 census they are in Nottingham Road Derby, but his birth eludes me. His father is also William, and his mother is Charlotte , any help would be appreciated, Jean
