There is a very useful site for people with connections to St. Helens Lancashire, It is www.sthelens-connect.net.
The site is free to register and free to use and contains the census's for 1841, 1851, 1861, 1871, 1891 and 1901. Also to can use the link to get to the St. Helens cemetery records which give sections and grave numbers. The is also a map of the cemetery on the site which is very useful as the cemetery is very large and sections are not easy to find.
The administrator is very helpful also.
I have gained loads of info from the site since I registered so give it a try.
