i'm trying find information about elizabeth gregson, born in stanton staffordshire (registration district of ashbourne) in 1889. i know she had two daughters, helena maria (known as nellie) in 1908 and annie elizabeth in 1911, but was not married at this time. at some point after this she married and went to live in manchester. i dont know if her husband was from manchester or where the marriage took place. she took nellie with her to manchester and in later years nellie returned to the ashbourne area. nellie spoke of having a step brother called charlie. |
