I am having problems finding this families birth registrations. What makes you think they were from Scarborough?

I haven't found any births for the names you listed with the same Mothers maiden name and can't find a marriage for Alfred Phillips to a Henrietta.

Phillips is a common name so it's making it difficult.

Do you have a birth or marriage cert for any of these children? I was wodering how you had the names of their parents, is it just from family info?

If you are descended from one of these children, I'm guessing maybe Gordon as you have more info on him, then the best thing to do is find his birth registration, buy the certificate which will give you his parents names and then you can work backwards.
