ok thanks susan would it be poss for some1 to look at the 1841 for uriah 1844 with his parents uriah 1814 and mary unknown maiden 1824.

also the 1841 noted on this thread is uriah 1844 grandmother would also like to find out who the other people on the census from that household are if poss.

there is no 'relationship status' noted, however Richard (age 25) is first on the list, so I assume he was head of the household. As Maria is also aged 25, she could possibly be his wife, though that's only a guess.

I had a look in 1851 for Charlotte but couldn't find her, so assume she had died before then. I'll go and have a quick look now for Richard and get back to you.

yes they were shoe makers!! think perhaps uriah had died what does it say relationship for the others and is charlotte as windower

Hi all was looking for some census info yesterday but couldnt find a census for a Uriah Purkiss with his parents prior to his marriage and his own family. However now i have his parents info

father Uriah Purkiss c1775 unknown birth place
Mother Charlotte Hull 1778 st olave southwark
Son Uriah Purkiss 1814 london, shoreditch.

Son in the above married Mary Unknown born 1824 in surrey.
They had a son also called Uriah born 1844 who married mary ann whittaker it is from this end i have the info.

Would love census info for uriah 1844 with his parents uriah 1814 and mother mary 1824.
Also if poss uriah 1814 with his parents if poss

any help would be great
