new sister lost brother

hello all,
thanks to FR i have found my sister that i had never met.we are still looking for our brother i have been to the records office sometime ago but to no avail.we dont have a lot to go on other then his name which could have been changed when adopted anthony lawless.apparentley adopted by a DR and his wife from middlesex.if his birth certificate is'nt available here could it be he was born in Irland and is it possible to search there records.he was born middle 40s to late 50s.any advise would be great.thanks best regards nina
