I am trying to find details of my cousin's birth mother. On his birth certificate (1936) her name is Gladys Joy Wareham a teacher of dancing and she was living with Godfrey Herbert Carew at 2 Highbury Grange, Islington. My cousin was adopted when he was 4 years old (1940). I have been in contact with a lady who has Gladys Jessie Wareham in her family but am unable to fully confirm if they are one and the same.

Can anyone help?
