I am trying to find out more about the decendants of
John Farren and Ellen Langton.

I know of 5 children, John 1883, Wiliam Henry 1884( My paternal grandfather), Arthur 1887, Harry 1899, and Polly 1890. There may be more, childhood deaths.

I am trying to find out who they married and if they had families and occupations.
I know about William Henry only.

Also, does anyone know where the name Farren comes from, as no history in family and name not passed on to children.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All were born in Leicester.
I suspect actually in town centre, byt dodn;t know for sure.

Looks like Ellen was married again in 1899
to THomas Warwick Harrison Dec quarter Leicester (volume 7a page 548) Thomas died aged 39 1900 (volume 7a page 164)

Here's Ellen in the 1901 census at 55 Great Holme Street, Leicester, with some of her children -

Not sure where you looked, but you have found another two relatives that we didn't know existed.
Also, i didn't know name of second husband.
