Please get in touch if you have a match. Do you have any Styles in your family tree from Hartlebury? If so please get in touch. Also, anyone with any connection to the following:
William George Styles. He married Agnes (Dolly) Dootson. This would have been around early 1900's. William George called himself Jones until he married because he had previously had a child with another woman and was trying to 'disappear' in order not to pay money for upkeep. We believe he was originally born in Wales but later moved to Failsworth around 1900's ish. He had a brother called Charlie who played for Newton Heath (now MUFC). My grandfather William Styles, bricklayer by trade, was born in 1908 in Failsworth, and married Elizabeth Scott in March 1929. They had children Elizabeth (Betty), William (Bill), Edward and Trevor. I have info going back to 1800's up to now.
Would love to hear from anyone with connection
