Hi there,
I wonder if anyone has an Ellen Wolstenholme who married William Garner in 1805 in Liverpool in their family tree? I have the date and details of her marriage at St Nicholas, Liverpool but am not able to find her parents as father's name was not on marriage records then.
The names of the witnesses were Edward Coventry and Edward Smith. I've searched for Edward Coventry thinking it was a more unusual name and maybe he was an uncle or close relative but no obvious connection.
I'm just hoping these names may mean something to someone!! From the early census returns I've got no way of knowing which Wolstenholmes belong to Ellen and it's all rather frustrating.

Here's hoping.
Josephine.
