Member Since: June 2005 Posts: 3 Send Message	My Great Great Grandfather was called James alexander tait born 1844 in Scotland, His father was called Thomas tait He was a sailor/mariner and doesn't seem to appear in any of the census records Am i missing something - are there records of mariners on merchant ships? regards Bryan
