Trying to find Le Duc's

Hi

I am trying to trace some of my husband's family.

I believe his Great Grandfather's name was Henry le Duc, born around 1860-61 married to Susan le Duc (born 1850 or 1851 ) and his Grandfather's name (we think) was Frank le Duc, born 1885 which would mean that Herbert le Duc, born 1908 is probably my husband's Father.

My husband never met his father, nor has he met any of his family as he was born out of wedlock whilst his Father was married to someone else, so it was all “covered up” at the time..

My husband's name is David le Duc and he was born in Lambeth, but his Father (if it is Herbert) appears to have moved to London from the Devon/Cornwall area.

Are any of these people in your family tree? Any information you can give me would be most helpful.

We now live in Australia.

Many thanks

Valerie
