Member Since: June 2005 Posts: 5 Send Message	My gt grandfather was George Gillis. He married Alice Maud Mary Lane and they had at least 10 children in the Gravesend, Kent area between 1894 and 1912. I would like to hear from anyone who is connected to the family however remotely. I know very little about any of my grandfather's siblings and since he died before I was born I am clutching at straws for info. I believe some of the family moved to London and Thanet but have no idea what became of the rest. George was a blacksmith as was his father and his brothers.
