My father was Heber Hesmondhalgh Hargreaves, his father was Heber Hargreaves and he was the Clerk to Rochdale Council and lived in Milnrow. My g/mother Lavina died long b4 I was born but remember my g/father had a housekeeper called Miss Finney. Trying to find anything that can throw light on when/where my g/parents were married as can find no records in the registry. Thanks 4 any help forthcoming.
