Member Since: July 2004 Posts: 2 Send Message	Can anyone help me out with any information regarding my dads birth mother? We have a name but no date of birth, so proving hard to track down through birth records. Anyway, we do know that in Feb 46 when dad was born her job title was given as Relieving Officer, & home address was in Shrewsbury. Wondering what a relieving officer would do, first thought was military as he was born 9 mths after the end of the war!! Have googled but came up with nothing conclusive, possibly a kind of social worker?
