Sparks that went to Canada

While researching my family tree, I came across two ancestors who went to Canada in the late 1800's/early 1900's.

One of them was Fred (Frederick) Sparks who was born in Otterford, Somerset in 1879 and I think he went to Canada in 1903. The other one was James Sparks and again he was born in Otterford and the year was 1882, and I think he went to Canada in 1896.

Now I've checked passenger ship lists and that is how I came across the year they went to Canada, but that is all I can get. From the time they got to Canada onwards I can't find them.

Could anyone help me with this part of my research please ?

Thank You.
