Hi, thanks for the info. All i have is the fourth quarter 1927 (match) and born in Leeds, but seems to match up.

Hi, yes the info you've given is a perfect match to my info. Doreen is my Grandma and she lives in the Lancashire area. She was born in 1925 and the second eldest of four. I hope I can find out some info regarding her sister.

thanks ann-have sent him some messages on here too-he is definately a connection-just relying on him looking on genes now. fingers crossed. wish they would get an email to say they had a reply to their topic like on some boards to their email address.

Hi Darren
I have been speaking to a lady who is researching richard strike who may be the father of this rose strike. This lady is connected to a doreen strike. Not sure if you already know her or are in contact with her,. If so i gave her some extra information today. If not maybe i could try and put you in contact with her. Doreen was born in 1922 i think or maybe 1925-lost the paper i wrote the info on. Richards wife was called lilian and she died two years after richard in 1934. Doreen was adopted out to an elderly lady at aroun d five or seven years old.

Hi,can anyone help with regards to Rose Strike born in Leeds in 1927,she lost her parents in the early 30s and was placed into NCH Bramhope. Rose married Arthur Bingham in Leeds in 1947 and had 2 children who died in infancy in late 40s ( Allen & Arthur) then divorced in the early 50s, this is the last anyone seems to have heard from her and i would like to know what happened to her after the sad start to life she seems to have had,kind regards
