Ronald Moore Mystery

Hi,

I have recently found an error on my Great Grandfather's Death Certificate. All the children are listed as issue of Frederick and Mary Moore(nee Tunrbull) but the last is listed as being 25 when their father died in 1952. The problem being their mother died in 1919.

The possiblilities are that the age is wrong, not uncommon. But a search has been done between the child before Ronald in 1908 up to 1918 and no Ronald with these parents was found.

So second possibility is that Frederick remarried or at least had a child with another woman after his wife died. There are a couple that could be so on the BDM but I'll have to get the certificates to find out if that was the case. Otherwise Ronald is not actually their child and is adopted, possibly even their grandchild. If anyone is descended from this family, I'd love to hear from you.

Ronald's older siblings are:
Frederick b.22 August 1902 d.13 October 1942
James b.1904
Jessie b.1906
Henry b.1908

Thanks,

Lesa
