Hi, Firstly Just like to say a big THANK You to BLUEMOON. For all info you sent on Dinah Ann Hall, hope you received my reply. New to Genes and probably a senior member and slow in navigating sites. I am desperately trying to find info on George Hall,Grandson of the above, born 30/7/1879 in Old Whittington Derby. Joined the army,no idea which regiment,in an effort to get to the Curragh Camp in Ireland, so he could trace the father of his illegitamate Dad,Henry born Aberford,Yorks 1852.
George we know was killed in action in Africa somewhere around 1899,couple of years before Battle of Maffekin. Has anyone any suggestions where I start, and where I might find where he was buried.
Thank you Margaret.
