John was almost certainly Jane's brother but unfortunately thefact does not lead to their parents. There are several other Greens living in the area who are also tailors. Later census returns give Janes age as the same as John George.

I think this is them on the 41 census with James green 17 tailor, could this be a brother ?

Jane Green born in Whixall Shropshire about 1807 according to census returns. Does anyone know who her parents or siblings were? She married John George in Parish of Whitchurch in Dec 1836.
