I have a marriage certificate for Anne Gare marrying John Rennels, a mariner, on April 19 1816 at Charles the Martyr in Plymouth. What is strange is that her address is given as the Church, there is no father's name but they have put her father's occupation as Shoe maker. She possibly had a brother called John Gare who is one of the witnesses.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Alison
