Would like to know the maiden name of Johns mother.He is living with a Mary Meek and husband Andrew Meek in censuses in Preston. .She is named as his mother.John was born in Cheshire and his mother in Lancashire.Sister is Mary Ann Potts(1830) and a brother Robert(1837 and possibly named Robert Meek)He may be a half brother.On Johns marriage certificate in (1854 ) the father is named as Robert(deceased)
Cannot find any marriages listed for either a Robert Potts to a Mary or Andrew Meek to a Mary. Andrew Meek was born in Lincolnshire.
Would appreciate any help with this brick wall.
