from what it says above and what i found on igi it maybe that he was b oadby but not sure

i will see if i can find him on the 51 census and see if it will tell me
1841 says not in this county

charles robinson age 53 f.w.k looks like northampton that he was born
wife ann 50 born oadby
and a james whiting lodger age 32 shoemaker he was from northamptonshire kettering
no eliza on this with them she would have been about 14.
cannot see where in northamptonshire he was from on the image might have to check the 61 census

I read the 51 census as Desbro, probably short for Desborough, Northamptonshire.

still cannot find a birth in northamptonshire for him ,
he could of been christened in leicestershire
still does not help find his parents though. it would be nice if there was a second marriage so it would hopefully tell you.
and you never know if he was christened at all

the possible christning for charles could be the one at catthorpe it is a extracted christing 25 nov 1798 all the others are submitted
samuel and catherine are the parents
