CURRIES OF KILMARNOCK - WHERE ARE YOU?

Lesley Report 9 Mar 2008 17:05

I am looking for any decendents of the following people who appear to have vanished into thin air. They are on the 1881 Census for Scotland, but after that vanish. They are the sibilings of my Great Grandfather Robert Currie b 1876 in Kilmarnock to Robert Currie and Mary Gebbie.

Since my last request I have been able to find out some more about my Great Grandfathers family.

AGNES B 1862
ALEXANDER B 1864
WILLIAM B 1866
ELIZABETH B 1869
GRACE B 1871
EUPHEMIA B 1873

Any information would be very much appreciated

Lesley Currie

Since posting my last request I have been able to find out a wee bit more about my Great Grandfathers family.

Agnes b 1862 died in 1881 shortly after the 1881 Census.
Alexander b 1864 I still cannot find more about.
William Gebbie Currie b 1866 married an Elizabeth Ness b 1866 from Dreghorn and were married in Kilmarnock. I haven't as yet been able to find anymore about them and wether they had children.
Grace Currie b 1871 married a John Moore b 1871 from Kilmarnock in 1893. They had 1 son that I have been able to find a John Moore born 1893. Grace died in 1898. Don't know if she and John snr had anymore children.
Elizabeth and Euphemia I haven't been able to find anything on.
I am hoping that someone will be able to help me.
