based in england during the 2nd world war, in the Midlands, he was in the medical corr (american) he stayed with the Goddard family and dated their daughter Florence Goddard. We believe he came from Queens Maryland, he was a semi professional boxer for the American forces. We know its a long shot asking for information but it would make my mother so happy. My mothers name is Josephine Goddard and she was born 30th October 1945.
Samuel Travis is her father, and his parents used to send parcels from America to here for her. If anyone can help with advice or information we would be so very very grateful, as we dont know where to start.
