Hello
I have a John Aird b 1857 who married Jane Urquhart b,1872 in 1900 Gorbals Glasgow. John is down as a widower on the marriage certificate. John parents are both reg deceased on the marriage cert., his father is also named John and his mother is Jane Wise. Jane Urquhart parents are Alexander Urquhart noted as deceased and her mother is Catherine Urquhart (Nee) Martin.
Alexanader was b.1847 and Catherine Martin b.1847.
Jane Urquhart had siblings Peter and Charles. Peter m. Lilian and had Gordon and Douglas. Charles married Margaret McLean and had Alexander, Annie, Catherine, Christine, Jeannie, Murdoch and Charles, all lived in the Glasgow area at this time. If there is anyone out there with these relatives in their tree, I'm eager for any news.
