Hello Angela, Vera and Val.
Many thanks for your help. Angela the spelling on the name Orvice as Awece in 1891 has the family living at the same address as 1881. Must have been the enumerator spelling it as he saw it. Thanks also for looking for them in 1871. Never mind I'm thrilled with the info that I have. Vera. Sophia died 1891 (after census night) and George died 1894. So that is them on the 1891. Val thank you for your Budwell family members.
The replies and questions came in thick and thin last night that it all got confusing for a while.

Yes i like a challenge too, but when someone don't want to offer as much info as possable it makes it hard...i did offer to look at the marriage of George & Sophia so i could go back some more, but when it like trying to get blood from a stone you feel you can be bothered

Trouble is it gets to you when you can't find them and you know they are there...even when they are not yours!!!!!

On FreeBMD the 2nd woman is missing so I checked for any Sophias in 1862 and came up with this.

Thanks. Certainly looks like the deaths for George and Sophia. Dates tie in.

I know who George married. It was Sophia ?? They are Minnies parents on the 1881 census. She is missing on the BMD for that quarter. That is why I thought there might be a clue in 1871 or 1891 possibly a brother or parent for Sophia. So I may find out her maiden name. This is how I have found other family members before by living or visiting family members.

30/31 when they married.

Minnie is on the 1901 census. Shortly after marrying Joseph Churchill he died. She remarried in 1895 to Alfred Homewood.

I know where she was born. Parents George Orvice and Sophia ?? They were both born in Attenborough as well. They all moved to London shortly after 1867.
Minnie married Joseph Henry Churchill in Paddington 1893.
