I am trying to locate my Husband's father he had several names but was known as John…. John, Augustus, Norman, Marmaduke, Glassier Mason... John was born in Scotland an elderly aunt told us he had served in the armed forces at Dunkirk and India as a wireless technician and that he died in the Congo. John married Eileen Bowden in Sutton, Surrey, England around 1938 they had two sons Derek John Mason b1939 and my husband Glyn Glassier Mason b1943. As far as we know John had a brother Richard also in the armed forces it is not known if Richard was older or younger only that he died at a fairly young age.
