WHO WAS A CHIEF PETTY OFFICER IN THE NAVY AND POSSIBLY LATER LIVED IN THE PLYMOUTH / DEVON AREA. HE WAS MARRIED TO VIOLET ALICE MATTHEWS AND THEY HAD THREE CHILDREN, ROBERT, MICHAEL AND CAROL , BEFORE SEPARATING ABOUT 1956, HARRY HAD A BROTHER CALLED ARTHUR WHOOSE WIFE WAS CALLED MOLLY .HARRY'S FATHER WAS CALLED GEORGE FREDERICK BROOKES AND HE WAS A DENTIST IN PAIGNTON DEVON.
