Find Ancestors

hi i was wondering if anyone can help me, what it is i am looking to find out about my mother in laws fathers family, she does not know a great deal about them, only that he was born in cheltenham in 1897 and lived at 1 coopers lane gloucester, she knows that he had brothers and sisters but that is about it, she never meet them that she can remember of. he married her mother 1919 at bedwellty south wales and went on to have 7 children. we have got his fathers and mothers name from his birth certifecate so if anyone could help us we would be greatful becasue mam has found some family photos and would like to find out if there are still any famliy alive that she could meet.

his name was alfred henry brookes d o b 27/3/1987 chelentham and he married rachel alice scofield in 1919. his fathers mane was edwin brookes dob 1871 and his mother was agnes florance brookes / bird dob 1875

thank you i thried that but i still cannot get into for some reason i can get the web site up but i am not sure what i have got to do from there if i have got to sign up to it or what i have to do i will try and have a look at t again because we are very intreseted in finding the family and relatives if we can because like i said my mother in law donesnt know a great deal about them and would like to find out if she has anyone still alive she got get in touch with has she is 73 herself now
