and it was deffo spelled Welsh on the birth cert? not Welch?

Emily was born on 5th March 1905..I am waiting for mer marriage cert to be delivered (ordered it yesterday) but my dad has got the same information and is stuck at the same place...her mother cannot be found anywhere...

i cant see her birth reg in 1905-but You have the cert?

did you actually know her date of birth before you sent for the cert? does her fathers name (on the birth cert) match with that on her wedding cert?

her father was Thomas Liddell.
born about 1865, "Margaret" was born about 1866.

My great grandmother was Emily Liddelll, born March 1905 in Stockton, County Durham..I always thought her mothers name was Margaret, that was until I ordered Emilys birth certificate...

Her mothers name on her birth certificate was Mary Elizabeth Ann Welsh.
I cant find a marriage to a Welsh and a Liddell, and I cant find a birth for Mart E A Welsh.

What can I do?
