Mason - Newcastle Upon Tyne

I am tracing the Mason family down my grandfathers line. They were all born in Newcastle.

John Mason (c1827 - born Berwick) married Ann, maiden name unknown (c1825 - born Newcastle). They had 2 sons, Thomas (1846 Newcastle) and George (1854 Newcastle).

George Married Mary born 1857 (possibly Sheils or Pennywote) may have married around 1880. Not sure of this point because the only marriage record found suggests they married in Sunderland, which makes little sence as they lived in Newcastle and as far as I can tell is Mary is from Scotland.

They had 5 children; George (1881 Newcastle), William (1884 Newcastle), Alfred (1886 Newcastle), Thomas (1890 Newcastle), and Mary (1898 Newcastle).

Alfred (My great grandfather) married Mary Gee born 1896 (they were married approx 1918. They had 7 children together plus Mary child from a previous relationship; Mary (1917, born Newcastle), Alfred (1919), Gladys (1921), Olive (1925), Andrew (1928), Madge (1930), Edward (1937), Leslie (1939). All born Newcastle. Madge and Leslie later emmergrated to Australia.

Edward (my grandfather) married Sheila Williamson (born 1938) in June 1958. They had 4 children; Lynne (1958), Carol (1960), Gillian (1963) and Ian (1965).

If any of this sound familiar to your tree, please get in touch. Or if you have any info on the Masons in Newcastle that would also be gratefully accepted.
