Hi

My great, great grandmother was born in Sussex in late 1863. Her parents moved to London in 1864 and they had her baptised at West Hackney Church in London in November 1864. From babyhood to aged 22 she grew up in Stoke Newington, Bow, Lambeth, Walworth and Holborn before marrying and spending the rest of her life in St Pancras. She died in 1943 in Islington.

Because of mass migration to London, does anyone else have an ancestor whose family relocated to The Smoke when they were a baby at all? I think she was still a Londoner? What do you think?

I dont think you have to necessarily be born in London to be a Londoner, you can be a Londoner as long as you grew up there?
