Find Ancestors

My Great Grandmother was Alice Maude Hammond born 05 Jan 1892 Harlington, She was married twice, once to Percy Edward Holderness & then to Leonard John Hatcher.
-Alice's parents were Charles Hammond born 1871 Hayes & Isabelle Clark born 1872 Staines Middlesex Harlington.
They married Dec Qtr 1891 Staines Middlesex.
-Charles parents were Henry Hammond born 09 July 1843 and died 1922 Hayes Middlesex.
Lucy Bedford born 12 Dec 1844 Hayes Middlesex & died 1924 Hayes, its said that she fell to her death from a window in Austin Road Hayes Middlesex.
They married 27 July 1862 Uxbridge Middlesex.
-Henry's parent's were James hammond born 1812 Hayes, died 1875
Eve Manley born 1813 Hillingdon.
Also on the 1871 census it show's an Anne Fisher born 1863 Heston Middlesex living with them (a niece).

What i would like to do is get back further, but also find out how Anne Fisher is related to this Hammond family.

Ann's birth cert might give you some clues. Several Ann Fisher regs that could be hers but this is the only one in the area covering Heston:

Wohhh ive just picked up on the address at the bottom of the page: Wool Pack, Hayes County Middlesex.
Does this mean they lived in a Public House.

Potty has had a look on the IGI for you and not been able to find anything. Have you seen the birth she found?

Ok Potty so if this is the correct Anne Fisher is there a way of finding out just how she was related to the Hammonds (we know she was a niece but by which side of the family) did James have siblings that i cannot find or was she from Eve Manley's side of the family?

I think the only way to find any connections between Anne Fisher and the Hammonds would be to buy the cert but I will see if I can find her after 1871

Found this for 1841 - the image for Ann Manly is not very clear - looks more like mrs to me but I suppose it could be Eve - but then where is baby James? Both the Manlys born Ireland:

Sorry, Samantha, I can't find anything else. I can't find the family in 1841. The only James of the right age with a father James is living in Norfolk and is still there in 1851.

Can't find her in 1891

Wow thanks Potty, sorry ive been loading up a load of info to make a family tree book, its taking ages but im enjoying myself.
Hoping to have my dad's side of the family done by the beginning of April for his birthday think i might be pushing my luck.
