Hi,does anyone know how I'd find information on 'pupils' at this School. It appears my G.Grandfather Robert Ernest was there at this time aged 11 & went on to join the Navy. Also he's registered as an 'ENDERD' has anyone any idea what that is?I have been on the Workhouse site but would value any info, help. Thanks Carla.

Hi Rita,
Thank-you for the info-I'm starting to think it would be easier to 'give-up',it looks like his Parents did-we've tried everything to find a GRO & are getting nowhere.
Regards,
Carla

You could try contacting the history section at the relevant local authority. It may be that if the school closed the records would have been archived. Roll details etc. Depends when the school closed of course - if it was a long while ago records may just have been dumped, but worth a try.
