Find Ancestors

I cant find this lady. I think the records were damaged in a flood.
Can anybody help?
She married Samuel Harrison. Had a daughter named Jane.
Her father was named Edwin I think.

She was born in Hulme I think and she was married at Manchester Cathedral to Samuel.

I hope someone out there can help.

Hi,

I am bookmarking this thread for later as I know I have a connection somewhere here.

I don't know if I can help but I have 3 Chapman lines in Salford.

I believe your Elizabeth may well connect to one of them (probably NOT my main line).

However, I have copious notes about hundreds of Chapmans and I know I have at least some information on this one but I will need to go through all my old notes to sort it out.

In the meanwhile, can you tell me anything else, or perhaps allow me to look at your tree if you have more Chapman's on there?

For now, If you do not already have it, do not send for the marriage cert of Elizabeth to Samuel Harrison as I believe I have access to a copy.

I have the marriage certificate for Elizabeth and Samuel and it gives her father as named Edwin with his job as a Finisher.

Can anyone throw light on him?

I cant understand why she does not appear on a census before she was Elizabeth Harrison (after marriage)

No one can find her on the 41 or 51.

I have one possible trace with a widow woman and her family in 51 a daughter named Elizabeth aged 20 its all I have maybe this is her>>

Which is the 1851 family you are thinking of?
