Any information would be greatful.

A Fred Whitwam married in Huddersfield 1890 but the wife was either Eliza Brierley or Sarah Jane Roberts.

CROMIEN Hannah Maria Huddersfield 9a 648

There is a missing groom on this page, so I think this is a mis transcription and should be the marriage

I have had a good look at the original image, it is type written, but there is a black line across the page. I think it should say vol 9a p 618 not 648.
That would match up with the Fred page found above.
Why her surname has been so badly mistranscibed I don't know, or as you can't find her on the earlier censuses perhaps this is her correct name

Linda, that is the correct transcription for Hannah Maria, but it could be tied to the Fred Whitwam marriage in Dec 1892. The image is not very clear for the page number and could be 648 not 618. (for Fred that is)

I have looked at both marriage images and i think they both should be 618., but if you think it is a 4, then so be it.....
