Am looking for James and Catherine Kilgallon both Circa 1822 and from Co. Mayo. They had at least 2 sons Andrew (G Grfther) and James, who were shown on 1871 census to be living in lodgings at Burslem Stoke on Trent. In 1881 James and Catherine appear on census also in Burslem, I think they were only visiting tho as Andrew was widowered as his wife Catherine (Devine) died in childbirth in 1880 and I suspect they came to take the child back to Ireland as there is no record of a child after her birth registration!! James the brother also disappears after 1871 census and Andrew re marries 1881 to Margaret Steele (G Grmther) then moves to Northwich , Cheshire where they have 6 children that I know of. I would appreciate any help with finding out where in Co Mayo James and Catherine came from or any other information regarding them.
