John Joseph Dawbarn. Any information on the Dawbarn family from Melbourne Victoria would be appreciated. I believe they were cordial makers. John Joseph was born in 1868 in Melbourne and was an electrician/manufacturer. The son of William Henry Dawbarn and Catherine Wilcocks. He married Mary Ann Hennessy b 1869 in Nth Melbourne. She was the daughter of Michael Hennessy and Bridget Smith. They had a son William Henry b 1890, killed in service whilst in Egypt. William married Gladys Evelyn Hood in West Perth W Australia in August 1913. There son Albert was born in 1913 in Perth WA. |
