Trying to trace Ancestors of Marion Morton born 1780 Kilmarnock. She married John Cameron and had the following children James John William and Wallace. James was the only one baptised 1807 and listed as 2nd child.

1841 census: shows:
Marion (60)
John (20)
William (15)
Wallace (10)

Wallace Morton Cameron married 1st to Janet White and 2nd to Jean Shedden and they had a daughter "Marion Morton" Cameron born 1864 in Glasgow.

I beleive Marion Morton and John Cameron may have had a daughter Janet who married Alexander Gibson in 1830 Kilmarnock but since Janet died pre 1855 ther only evidence I have which leads me to beleive Janet Cameron is the daughter of John and Marion is that they named their 1st daughter after Janets mother "Marion Morton" Gibson..

Can anyone help or advise...
