Still Looking for descendants of my gggrandfather George William Wheeler (born in England around 1821) and his two wives - 1. Martha Payne who had at least one son named Joseph M Wheeler and possibly other children. and 2. Margaret Ann Bell whom he married in Glasgow when he was a 41year old widower and she was 19 ! George and Margaret Ann had the following children Andrew, Thomas, William, Duncan (all born in London ) then George, Lillias and Ada born in Glasgow.
George's parents were Joseph Wheeler and Frances Fligg.
Andrew Bell Wheeler was my great grandfather and at least one of his children Martin Douglas Wheeler had a large family. I just discovered this week through Scotland's People that Martin only passed away in 1983 at age 81 so perhaps some of his children or grandchildren are on this site. Wheeler is a common name in England but not in Glasgow where they presumably still live. Love to hear from any Wheelers descended from any of this crowd!
