Hi, im trying to trace the name Brammer however not sure how it is correctly spelt?

My story is that possibly my Grandads dad could of been adopted into an Adcock family....he may of possibly of been born a brammer or he had an affair with a lady brammer who apprently was pushed out of her family after they found out about the affair with my Great Grandad? I believe they then had my Grandad Charles Adcock? not sure of any other siblings? or who his grandparents are?.... I believe the Brammer family were wealthy horse breeders, no location known?

Grandad Charles W Adcock

Born Croydon, 26.03.1906 - 12.12.1987

Can anyone help???

Thanks x
