Hi, trying to find any relatives of FREDERICK THOMPSON, born 11th December 1917 in Newcastle upon Tyne. He served in the Navy during the war (Chief Petty Officer) and spent about half his life down South, in South London area (Battersea, Stockwell and Clapham North). Married to Delphine just after the war, one daughter Pauline (b.1950) and one son Raymond (b.1960). He died in 1977 but he had a surviving sister, MARY STRAW, who was in contact with Pauline until the 1980's and she was still living in Newcastle - Mary was married to GEORGE STRAW and I know they had at least one daughter, LILLIAN (and maybe a son, also called George?). Fred and Mary's mum was called Catherine - she was married twice, and I think her second husband was called George too. Anyone think they may be connected? Please get in touch!
