Member Since: January 2009 Posts: 64 Send Message	I am trying to find out what happened to this lady who was born in South Russia to British parents, in 1874 she is found living in England in the 1881 census as Elena, but then the 1891 census as Alona. She has a niece called Elona b 1899 so I guess any of the spellings could have been used. I cannot find a marriage or death for her.

	There is an Elenar Thompson who married Arthur Braithwaite June 1915 in Carlisle Cumberland 10b 1253 or Elena E Thompson who married Richard S Stewart in Rochford Essex 4a 1471 Dec 1924. These are the only ones I found between 1884-1930

	Is this her 1901? 1901 Scotland Census 1900s (Century) Name: Elena Thompson Birth: abt 1874 - Russia Residence: Carluke, Lanarkshire If so, she might just possibly have married in Scotland I guess. Jan
