Looking for Patricia Taylor of Clifton Avenue

Hi I am looking for my biological mother and need help. I have little information other than her name is Patricia Taylor she was born around 1945 and her address when I was born was 34 Clifton Avenue, Wanton, Fylde near Preston. If anyone on here thinks they know her or are related to her I would greatly appreciate it if you could get in touch and help move my search forward.

You could get in touch/email the below library & ask if the TAYLOR family lived there when you were born OR was it just an address where Patricia lived before she gave birth. OR they can say where the OLD electoral roll registers are.
If Patricia lived there there may be her parents/siblings names.

Found a birth of a Patricia D TAYLOR, mothers name LISGOE, JAS 1946 Blackpool. (ref 10b 612).
Also
Patricia M TAYLOR, mothers name GODSMARK, OND 1946, Preston.(ref 10f 555)

Could not find a marriage 1941-1946 for Lisgoe. In fact there were none in that period under that name the nearest was Lisgo and all in Durham area.

Have you tried members trees? there is a Janice Taylor born 1950 at Warton you might get lucky and be a link.

Hi there,

I too have been down the same road, so if I can help you I will do so. My biological mum was also born in 1945 so I'm guessing we are around the same age, (must have been common to adopt in the sixties). I began my search my obtaining my original birth certificate. This then shows her full name (probably unmarried) and the name that she gave you at birth. It will also show her address at the time along with the hospital that you were born.
