norah sweeting (nee mossop) was my great grandmother who died at the birth of my gran in c1939. i have to assume she was her first born and we have no information on her or her family history. she was born in 1906.

i would like to find out any information i can about her, but the lack of knowledge, (including not knowing who her parents were), are making it harder to start.

she was married to george sweeting and i assume it was her 1st marriage, but it was his 2nd marriage.

i have no other information on her : (

i would be greatful for any help in finding her relatives; including her parents, any sibblings etc. i would be surprised to know she had any other children.

You need the marriage cert......it will tell you her father's name.....and her age.

rebecca, there are a few census reports I could send you for mossop but of course she wont be on any of them so it would be best to send for her birth certificate online and then you will know her parents names. Once you have that you can come back on and we will be able to find them for you.

As Norah was born in 1906 there is very little information we can get on her as the last census we can look at is 1901 and the 1911 will not be out for a few years yet.
