Hi and a huge thankyou to all who have helped in this mamouth task of locating the Swan's from Harthill.

If anyone is related to any of the following (it may be long winded) please read on and feel free to reply.

Reasearching family tree for my children.

Great grandfather Francis Swan born 1862 in co.antrim ireland.Died 1933 Harthill Lanarkshire.
Married 1898 in NI .Father was William Swan no d.o.b. Mother Nancy Mclean no d.o.b. Other spouces Rachel Kennedy.

Great Grandmother born abt 1880 in ireland.
Died 1924 Harthill Lanarkshire.
Mother Martha Stewart no d.o.b.
Father John Mckay no d.o.b.

their children:

Annie Ethel Swan born 1898 in shotts Lanarkshire.
died 1979 in Glasgow
Married 1922 in Glasgow.

My Grandfather William Swan born 1900 Harthill Lanarkshire.
married Sarah Ann Dodds 1926 in Hamilton Lanarkshire.
Re-married Annie O'Neill 1962 Calderhead Lanarkshire.
Died 1972 posibly Armadale.

Francis John Mckay Swan born 1909 West Benhar Shotts Lanarkshire.no other info.....

Maud Swan born 1902 Albert Street Harthill .no other info....

Rachel Swan born 1904 West Benhar Shotts Lanarkshire.
Married 1924 in Midlothian Edinburgh...Spouse Daniel Calligan.

Jeanie Swan born 1912 @ 33 West Benhar Harthill.
no other info.

Alice Swan born 1916 in Eastfield Harthill.no other info....

We have no Idea about what has happened to these people.
