Trying to research William John Stubbs (b.1897), who married Jan 24th 1927 as just John Stubbs in Lymington, Hants. He married Emily Louisa Dunkinson (b.1903). They had 5 daughters, Phyllis, Violet, Rita, Freda, and Patricia. and 2 sons. Reginald and Raymond. William/John's Father also named John Stubbs (1859 Spalding), who moved to Pimperne Dorset. (Groom as occupation on marriage certificate John married Julia Foot January 22 1883 in Blandford. They had George, Alice, Emily, John(Arthur), Mabel, Florence, William(John) as above, and Violet. John snr fathers name was Joseph. Julia's father was John Foot. I don't know if relations or not but there were Foot's in Lymington too. I am the daughter of Raymond. Granddaughter of William/John, and Emily. On the Dunkinsons side, were cousins surnamed Courtenage, Cave, and Donnely's.. in Lymington, and surrounding area's.. Raye. |
