Find Ancestors

I am trying to find my cousin and my aunt. Stuart Russell, and Elizabeth Russell (maden name) I know that my aunt is around 57 and my cousin is in his 30's. My dad and nan are ill and I really need to find them.

I know they are still in the UK. She married a couple of times, and had quite a few children. (6 i think) I know that Stuart kept her maden name when she had him and he is a Russell. I know he had a daughter. Possibly the name of Chloe or Chelsea ( think) who would be approx 15-16ish give or take. I know it isnt much to go on and I do apologize. If my grandmother was cohearant enough to tell me more I would go off of that. Plus my dad just passed away unexpectidly so that is why it is so important for me to find them.
My grandparents are Elizabeth Shields (maden name) and George Russell. Their daughter Elizabeth (my aunt who I need to find) was born approx 1950 as she was approx 7 years older than my dad who was born in 1957. (Andrew George Russell) I really appreciate any help you can give me. This is really hard for me to do being over here in the states with such limited information to go off of.

Scratch that. His daughter might only be in the 12-14 range. I am trying to remember when it was that i met her (which was also the last time I saw my cousin) she was only a baby/toddler 1 1/2 and i think it was about 11 years ago.

Hello Stephanie (again, lol). It is probably going to be a hopeless task for anyone here with that limited info.

Dozens and dozens of Stuart Russells have married since 1984 alone (that's the date when you can search things on line after). Numerous Chelsea and Chloe Russells -- dozens of Chloes probably -- were born in that range. If there were fewer, it might be possible to check the mothers' surnames in the list of births against the wives' surnames in the list of Stuart Russell marriages ... but that's a big undertaking, and he may well have married before 1984 anyway. (Edit, sorry, it's his mother was born abt 1950, not him.)

Do you have any idea at all of where in England? That really is a crucial bit of info.

Well i just found out that the last time we heard from Elizabeth she was married with the last name of Jennings. and if this helps the last working number for her was 01144-1582-866638. It is not working now. I will prob be able to get her last address. I am going to go by my nans tonight and see if i can find it. Would that help? I can also get her exact birthday. I know she was born on New Years Day, but I will confirm the year.

Ok. So I did some more searching through my grandmothers address book and I found 2 old addresses for my cousin Stuart. Hougton Regis Beds LU5PD . The other is Parkside Drive, Hougton Regis, Dunstable Beds 1582- is the area code for the phone. Dont know if this helps any.

Her birthday probably won't help, unfortunately. The one resource that an age can help with is the electoral roll at

where people's age range is sometimes shown. But we can imagine how many Elizabeth Jennings-s there are in that age range.

Now -- if you know her husband's name, or what her surname was when she married Jennings so we could find her husband's name (if she married after 1984 it would be relatively easy), that would really help a lot. You can search at 192.com for one person living with another person.

I don't thinnk anyone here is offering 192.com lookups at present. If you do find someone there who might be her, you have to buy credits to see the address details.

I did check deaths 1984-2005, and no Elizabeth Jennings born on January 1 is in the list.

I believe 1582 is Luton, Bedfordshire. That could help.

Let me do a couple of things ...

I removed the street names off of the addresses. I am just so despriate to find them I didnt even think about that. I did also find a picture of my cousins daughter and was able to confirm that her name was chelsea not chloe. She was Russell before she became Jennings. I will see if I can find his name. I will pay for whatever websites are available. I dont mind.

I'm at 192.com cross-referencing S Russell listings in the telephone directory (which gives addresses and phone numbers) with the electoral roll, by searching for Stuart Russells with the same post code. Give me a few minutes ...

No luck with Stuart. The only Stuart Russell who matched with one of the S Russells in the phone directory shows (in two years) as being aged 65+.

Let me try Jennings ...

His wife is Madeline and Chelsea was born in 1992. (Found by searching for Russell births in Bedfordshire with a mother's surname that matched the Russell marriages in Bedfordshire.)

I think I saw them on the electoral roll. Let me go look again ...

They are on the electoral roll 2002-2007 but not 2008. That could mean they moved, it could mean they chose not to be published.

Unfortunately it could also mean that the address for 2002-2007 is one of the old ones you have. Put the street names here again and I'll check.

Okay. It all matches up. Stuart A on the marriage record and the electoral roll. I found an SA Russell at BT, took the city name to 192.com, and it returned the same address with full name Stuart A for the phone listing ... let me just check it's the same address for the electoral roll listing ... yes.

I hope those addresses you had were older than that, so that this one is the current one.
