Member Since: February 2005 Posts: 17 Send Message	I am trying to find information re the Stawell family of Teingrace Devon, particularly prior to James born 1838 in Teingrace Devon. Was there a spelling change of the surname around between 1790 and 1830 Was it always Stawell?????????

	I have friends who originate from Devon and their name is Stowell. I wonder if they are varients of the same name?
